A new BC Provincially funded program for charging stations has just launched. The program provides rebates for the purchase and installation of charging stations as well as support for planning:
1. 75% up to $750 rebate for a Level 2 charging s tation in single-family homes & duplexes
2. 75% up to $4,000 incentive for a Level 2 charging station in residential buildings (MURBS with 3+ units)
3. 50% up to $4,000 incentive for a Level 2, and up to $2,000 for a Level 1 charging station in workplaces
4. Guidance on planning for charging stations in multi-unit residential buildings and workplaces

Individuals and public and private fleets can now receive rebates on eligible specialty-use vehicles that aren't covered by the CEVforBC point-of-sale incentive.
These vehicles include electric motorcycles, forklifts, trucks, and e-buses. Rebates range from $2,000 to $50,000.
